Cortisporin-TC Otic Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Cortisporin-TC is a liquid suspension used to treat external ear infections. They may also be prescribed after ear surgery such as a mastoidectomy. Colistin sulfate and neomycin sulfate are antibiotics used to treat the bacterial infection itself, while hydrocortisone acetate is a steroid that helps reduce the inflammation, swelling, itching, and other skin reactions that are associated with an ear infection.

Cortisporin-TC Otic Dosage

• Fos adults, The usual starting dose is 5 drops or 4 drops in the affected ear, 3 or 4 times daily.
• For the Infants and children, the usual starting dose is 4 drops or 3 drops in the affected ear 3 or 4 times daily.
