Dolobid Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Diflunisal is in a class of medications known as NSAIDs. Diflunisal is used to treats pain, tenderness, swelling and stiffness that may be caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Diflunisal is also used to relieve mild to moderate pain from other causes. It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that may causes pain, fever, and inflammation.

Dolobid Dosage

• For the treatment of Mild to Moderate Pain, the usual starting dose is 1,000 milligrams, followed by 500 milligrams every 8 to 12 hours
• For the treatment of Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, the usual starting dose is 500 to 1,000 milligrams per day in 2 doses of 250 milligrams or 500 milligrams.

Side Effects of Dolobid
