Gyne Lotrimin Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Gyne-Lotrimin® is an antifungal agent used to treat vaginal yeast infections. It is also effective against ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch.

Gyne Lotrimin Dosage

• The usual starting dosage is 1 troche slowly dissolved in the mouth 5 times daily for 14 consecutive days.
• For prevention, the usual starting dose is 1 troche 3 times daily.

Side Effects of Gyne Lotrimin

Drug Interaction :-

If you are taking Gyne Lotrimin with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So before using this medication, you should tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products that you are taking , especially of: oral antibiotics, corticosteroids, drugs that suppress the immune system.

Overdose

An overdose of clotrimazole vaginal is unlikely to occur. But after taken Gyne Lotrimin if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect.
