Psorcon Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Psorcon is used for the treatment of the inflammation and itching of skin disorders. Psorcon is available in ointment and cream forms, and in emollient ointment and cream.

Psorcon Dosage

• For adults, Psorcon ointment should be applied as a thin film over the affected area from 1 to 3 times a day.
• Psorcon cream should be applied twice a day. The emollient cream may be applied up to 3 times a day.

Side Effects of Psorcon

Before taken Psorcon medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor. If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Psorcon. Side effects may include:

• Burning
• Dryness
• Eruptions resembling acne
• Inflammation of hair follicles
• Prickly heat
• Secondary infection

Warnings and precautions before taking Psorcon:

• You should not use Psorcon for any disorder other than the one for which it was prescribed.
• If an irritation or allergic reaction develops while you are using Psorcon, then you should notify your doctor.
• The treated skin area should not be bandaged, covered, or wrapped. So you should be avoid covering a treated area with waterproof diapers or plastic pants. Because they can cause unwanted absorption of Psorcon.

Drug Interaction :-

No interactions with food or other drugs have been reported. But if you are taking Psorcon with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Psorcon with other drugs.

Overdose

After taken Psorcon if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect. An acute overdosage is unlikely with the use of Psorcon; however, long-term or prolonged use can produce side effects throughout your body.
