Tasmar Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Tasmar is used to treats the muscle stiffness, tremor, and weakness that may be caused by Parkinson's disease.

Tasmar Dosage

• For adults, the usual starting dose is 100 milligrams 3 times daily.

Side Effects of Tasmar

Before taken Tasmar medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor. If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Tasmar. Side effects may include:

• Abdominal pain
• Breathing difficulty
• Chest pain
• Decreased muscle movement
• Excessive dreaming
• Falling
• Hallucination
• Increased muscle movement
• Loss of appetite
• Muscle cramps

Warnings and precautions before taking Tasmar:

• You should be alert for any sign of developing liver damage, such as clay-colored stools, yellowing of your skin and eyes, fatigue, loss of appetite, dark urine, and pain in the upper right abdomen. If you develop any symptoms, then you should tell your doctor immediately.
• Especially at the start of therapy, Tasmar can cause severe low blood pressure, marked by nausea, sweating, dizziness, or fainting. You should avoid these symptoms, get up very slowly from a seated or reclining position.
• You should inform your doctor if you develop a high fever, muscle rigidity, or altered consciousness.

Drug Interaction :-

If you are taking Tasmar with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Tasmar with the following:

• Apomorphine
• Desipramine
• Isoproterenol
• Methyldopa
• Nervous system depressants
• Warfarin

Overdose

After taken Tasmar if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect. Symptoms of a Tasmar overdose include:

• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Vomiting
