Tussi-Organidin NR is used to treats coughs and chest congestion. It contains guaifenesin, which helps thin and loosen mucus in the lungs, making it easier to cough up. It also contains a cough suppressant, the narcotic codeine.

Tussi-Organidin NR Dosage

• If you are taking Tussi-Organidin NR, then the usual starting dosage is 2 teaspoonfuls every 4 hours.
• If you are taking Brontex, then the usual starting dosage is 1 tablet or 4 teaspoonfuls every 4 hours.
