Valium Medication - Uses & Side Effects

It belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines. Valium is used for the treatment of anxiety disorders and for short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. Valium Dosage

• For the treatment of Acute Alcohol Withdrawal, the usual starting dose is 10 milligrams 3 or 4 times during the first 24 hours, then 5 milligrams 3 or 4 times daily as needed.

Overdose
