Zaditor Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Zaditor combats the release of chemicals that trigger allergic reactions. It works within minutes to relieve the itchy eyes brought on by allergies.

Zaditor Dosage

• The usual starting dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, every 8 to 12 hours.

Side Effects of Zaditor

Before taken Zaditor medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor. If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Zaditor. Side effects may include:

• Headache
• Runny nose
• Increased blood flow in the eyelid

Warnings and precautions before taking Zaditor:

• You should not wear contact lenses if your eyes are red or irritated, and you should not use Zaditor to treat irritation from contact lenses. If you wear soft contact lenses, wait at least 10 minutes after applying Zaditor before inserting them.
• The safety and effectiveness of Zaditor in children below the age of 3 years have not been established.

Drug Interaction :-

Since Zaditor is not ingested, interactions are unlikely. But if you are taking Zaditor with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Zaditor with other drugs.

Overdose

Overdosage is highly unlikely. But after taken Zaditor if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect.
